You can try the best recipes from several cookbooks. Try some useful strategies from them. There are also some kids that show interest in cooking and it is a great idea if you let them prepare what they love to eat with your guidance.
Pumpkin Smoothy is a tasty drink that is a good treat for them.
Ingredients:
1-15 ounce cans, pure pumpkin
1-12 ounce cans, evaporated milk
1/4 cup of white sugar
8 ounce of vanilla yogurt-low fat
1 pint whipping cream-low fat
Procedure:
1. Combine evaporated milk, yogurt, sugar and pumpkin in a blender.
2. Blend the ingredients until smooth.
3. Transfer to milkshake glasses.
4. Top it with whipped cream.
Homemade Ice Cream is a creamy sweet stuff the kids would certainly enjoy.
Ingredients:
1 can milk-condensed
1 quart of half and half
2 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Procedure:
1. Combine vanilla, condensed milk and half and half in a huge bowl.
2. Mix all the ingredients well.
3. Freeze for two hours.
4. Unsweetened fresh fruit could also be added. Moderately beat for thirty seconds.
5. Freeze until firm and serve.
Tuna casserole could already serve a full meal because of pasta and tuna.
Ingredients:
6 cups, cooked pasta-drained
4 stalks celery -finely chopped
3 tablespoon of margarine
1/4 cup onion-chopped
2 cans of tuna-well drained
2 cans of mushroom soup
1 cup potato chips-crushed
Procedure:
1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Dissolve margarine in skillet.
2. Add onion and celery. Cook by stirring occasionally until tender.
3. Add tuna and pasta. Transfer to a casserole saucer.
4. Sprinkle with potato chips.
5. Bake for half an hour. Serve it hot.
Doughnuts are kids favorite. Its shape and color variation attracts the kid's interest. Guide your children while deep frying to prevent accidents causing severe burns.
Ingredients:
1 pack of biscuits-refrigerated
Procedure:
1. Form the hole in biscuits using doughnut cutter.
2. Heat the oil and deep fry the biscuits.
3. Drain the fried biscuits on a paper towel then cool.
4. Sprinkle using either icing or granulated sugar. Mixture of cinnamon and white sugar is also an alternative.
5. Serve the tasty made doughnut.
Jello pie could be a great desert for kids.
Ingredients:
2 packages of jello- choose the flavor that your kids like
2 cup of boiling water
3 cups of ice cubes
1-12 ounce container of whipped cream-frozen
2 pie shells
Procedure:
1. Boil water in a saucepan.
2. Add the jello, stirring it well until dissolved.
3. Transfer it to a mixing bowl.
4. Add ice cubes.
5. Stir the mixtures until thickens.
6. Add whipped cream and mix it well.
7. Transfer the mixture into pie shells.
8. Refrigerate until firm and serve.
Wieners and Potatoes is a healthy food for your kid.
Ingredients:
4 cups raw potatoes-cut into cubes
1 small onion-diced
3 tablespoon butter
1 1/4 cups of milk
8 wieners-sliced
1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese-grated
Procedure:
1. Put the wieners and potato in a one quart non-stick casserole dish.
2. Dissolve the butter in the microwave.
3. Add the flour and mix.
4. Heat the stove and add milk.
5. Add half of the cheddar cheese and stir.
6. Put wieners, onions and potatoes.
7. Bake for half an hour on a preheated oven at 450 degrees then serve.
