Identify Chronic Fatigue Symptoms
from: Maxx Family LifeAs with any diseas, chronic fatigue has its share of symptoms. The major sign of chronic fatigue is prolonged feeling of tiredness, which can last for as long as six months. This is the main complaint of a quarter of those who have chronic fatigue.
The type of chronic fatigue symptoms patients suffer are quite different than what one feels after a stressful day at work. It's a severe, weakening fatigue that isn't relieved by any rest or sleep, in fact, most physical and mental activities could make the condition worse.
In addition to tiredness, the chronic fatigue symptoms list includes cognitive dysfunction and postexertional malaise. Cognitive dysfunction is characterized by memory loss and concentration problems. Postexertional malaise, on the other hand, is extreme exhaustion after even a simple mental or physical exercise.
People suffering from chronic fatigue symptoms also experience a round of less than refreshing sleep. They may be able to sleep normal hours, but when they wake up, they won't feel revitalized in the least. Sleeping is thus reduced to a routine that doesn't have any physical benefits.
Joint pains and persistent muscle pains are also difficulties that will surface. Joint pains usually occur without swelling or redness. However, its presence can be alarming enought that an appointment with a doctor could be needed.
Also, multiple episodes of headaches are likely to be experienced. The lymph nodes and the cervix area may become tender along with a sore throat which will arise from time to time.
There are also some chronic fatigue symptoms that show up in only some individuals. These symptoms may not be apparent to other patients, but they appear commonly enought that researchers of the disease established a link. These chronic fatigue symptoms include irritable bowel syndrome, brain fog, chills, night sweats, chest pain, chronic cough, jaw pain, and allergies.
